The King Fahd Center for Middle East & Islamic Studies is an informational and educational resource on the Middle East, North Africa, and the Islamic world for the state of Arkansas, the University of Arkansas community, and the region.
As part of the Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Arkansas, the center is dedicated to the vision of international education and exchange promoted by the late Senator J. William Fulbright. The Middle East Studies Program (MEST) of the King Fahd Center reflects this vision through an interdepartmental academic program that fosters interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to cultural studies.
