Optically-Polarized NMR of Ga-69 Spins in GaAs in Semi-Insulating
GaAs and InGaP/GaAs Heterostructures

Optically-polarized NMR is a technique whereby nuclear spins are polarized through the hyperfine interaction with electrons. These electrons are polarized by the use of a laser that excites conduction electrons in semiconductors. We will present wavelength-dependent Ga-69 spectra in a series of samples, including semi-insulating GaAs and heterostructured InGaP/GaAs grown by CVD.
