Rainbows, Visible and Invisible

Human fascination with rainbows precedes any scientific understanding of their origins. For some of us, an increased understanding of these beautiful phenomena leads to an increased aesthetic delight in seeing them. This talk will illustrate usual and unusual features of rainbows, some of which are guaranteed to be new to each person in the audience.
