Web Site Accessibility Information

Accessibility statement

We are committed to ensuring that our Web site is accessible to everyone. If you have any questions regarding the accessibility of the university's Web site or are having problems accessing any information in our site, please e-mail us - we want to improve the experience for all of our visitors.

To that end, we've taken the following steps:

  • We offer a high-contrast, large-font layout & color scheme for low-vision users.
  • We have avoided fixed font sizes, so you can use your browser controls to increase or decrease the size of the text at our site.
  • We have added links at the top of all of our pages that offer screen reader users an easy way to jump directly to page navigation or main content blocks.
  • We have coded our Web site so that the content is still accessible, and the navigation still works, if all the "bells and whistles" of visual browsers (i.e. stylesheets, JavaScript, images) are removed.
  • We have tried to ensure that our Web pages are, wherever possible, semantically correct. This improves the navigation options of visually and motor-impaired users.
