Found in Translation

The King Fahd Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies and the University of Arkansas Press have teamed up to reward literary works from the Muslim world that are finding their way into the English language and providing Americans with a broader understanding of Middle Eastern culture. A $10,000 prize is offered each year for the best literary work translated from Arabic, and the University of Arkansas Press publishes the top two translations in its series about the Middle East.
