Library Instruction E-mail Request
University of Arkansas faculty members and instructors who wish to schedule an instruction session for their class/classes at Mullins Library may use the form below to contact Necia Parker-Gibson in order to:
schedule general library instruction for lower division classes such as Communications 1313 or English 1013 or 1023
be directed to the
subject specialist
in your discipline for subject-specific or upper division and graduate level instruction.
The general orientation consists of a lecture/demonstration of InfoLinks, call numbers, an interdisciplinary database, such as Ebscohost Academic Search Premier, and, commonly, one other relevant database if time allows. If you wish to talk about other subjects related to research, such as the evaluation of sources or searching the Internet for research sources, please plan to schedule more than one class session.
You may call 575-8421, come to the Reference Desk in the main library, or fill out and submit the form, below. Upon receipt of your request, I will confirm your class time, if possible, or suggest an alternate time. While I will do all that I can to accommodate requests, it is much easier to oblige if I have at least a week's notice.
Please fill in and send the form. *Most of the boxes accept more text than their size suggests*.
Please type your name in the text box:
What class is the instruction being scheduled for?(i.e. Comm 1313, English 1013, etc.?)
What is their assignment?(you may type more)
Any special needs or requests for topics?(you may type more)

What's your E-mail address?
