2013 Japanese Language Proficiency Test

The University of Arkansas is the 9th U.S. test site for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT; administered by The Japan Foundation). This site aims to provide logistical assistance for examinees registered to take the 2013 JLPT in Arkansas. This Website is updated whenever new information becomes available. A P P L I C A T I O N    D E A D L I N E

The American Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ) accepts registration (online or mail-in) for the 2013 Japanese Language Proficiency Test between August 26, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. (ET), and September 27, 2013, at 9:00 p.m. (ET). Please note that COMPLETED PAPER APPLICATIONS MUST ARRIVE AT THE AATJ OFFICE BY THE DEADLINE (NO postmarks, faxes, or emails). See the 2013 JLPT Website for detailed information about registration guidelines.

Major airlines have daily flights between 15 U.S. cities and XNA. Fly-in examinees need to be aware that the University of Arkansas is approximately 3 hours by car from Little Rock. XNA, on the other hand, is only 35 minutes by car from the University of Akransas. Please refer to this map (provided by Yahoo! Local Map) for locations of the University of Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
-NOTE- We strongly urge fly-in examinees to use the airport code (XNA) in flight reservation to avoid arriving in a wrong airport (there are other airports with misleading names in other U.S. states).
