NOTICE: Changes in 2013-2014 Japanese Program Offerings
The Japanese Program at the University of Arkansas hereby announces the important changes in 2013-2014 course offerings as follows:
As a better way to prepare students for JLPT Level N3, we strongly advise students in Intensive Advanced Japanese (JAPN 3116[H]) in Fall Semester 2013 to take Business Writing in Japanese (JAPN 4333[H]) in Spring Semester 2014 before taking Oral Communication & Composition (JAPN 4033[H]) in Fall Semester 2014.
Starting the 2013-2014 academic year, the Japanese Program will offer one section each of Elementary Japanese I/II (JAPN 1003/1013) in consecutive 8-week sessions of Spring Semester instead of JAPN 1003 in Spring Semester and JAPN 1013 in Summer Session.
