The New TPlot Homepage
Note for Metrowerks' CodeWarrior users: I have made a couple
of changes to the library functions to fix a couple of compilation
the NEW (April 30, 1997) version if you have been experiencing
Welcome to the new TPlot homepage. TPlot is an application I put
together for my own use, to be able to generate and manipulate
two-dimensional plots on my Macintosh. I don't think there is
anything quite like it out there in the free/shareware domain, so I
'm making it available as freeware. Give it a try and let me know
what you think, OK?
In fact, you can think of TPlot as being two somewhat different
- A standalone application to plot data sets, which allows the
plots to be manipulated and modified in various ways.
- A set of routines that you can incorporate into a program and
call from within your program to plot your data and manipulate
them in a fully interactive way.
Accordingly, there are two sets of documents you may want to check
out from here:
- "The TPlot interface" explains
what TPlot does, and how to use the various commands and options.
It also lists the main features (and bugs) of the current release
- "The TPlot Library" explains
how you can add the TPlot source code to your project (which could
be any ordinary C program, with a couple of exceptions that are
explained in that document) and use it to generate plots, t
emporarily halt execution to inspect them, and resume execution.
