THE PROGRAM

The title of the 2007 Teaching Retreat program is "Being Well, Teaching Well" and is being facilitated by Dr. Ro Di Brezzo and Dr. Ed Mink, U of A faculty members, and supported by other presenters known for their expertise in wellness. As the name implies, our focus during the first session is all about exploring the links between optimal health (emotional, spiritual and physical) and optimal teaching. This topic was selected because of the excitement and interest generated when related topics were explored and discussed at Teaching Camp last year. Exit surveys from that camp expressed the desire for more programs in this area and we have listened to you!

Come join us this year and learn all about ways of taking better care of yourselves so that your performance and job satisfaction can soar to new heights.

Workshop Sessions and Discussion Groups

U of A colleagues will lead sessions on practical and timely components of classroom teaching.
