New Faculty Luncheons
The Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center has a regular program of Luncheon Discussions for new faculty, where we discuss practical ways to improve teaching, for faculty in their first and second years of teaching. Topics are focused on teaching issues relevant to classroom and laboratory situations which new faculty are experiencing.
We help to build a community where new faculty can share their concerns and teaching tips. Here are some of our past programs and presenters. If you want something repeated for you and your colleagues, please let us know!
New Faculty Orientation
The Center organizes and conducts, with input from a faculty committee, a New Faculty Orientation program prior to the start of the fall semester. The resource tables are set up to help you become more familiar with campus services.
