Attributes:
AR910 is a high yielding soft red winter wheat with excellent test weight and a broad adaptability that should fit most production systems in Arkansas and throughout the Mid-South. AR 910 is an apically awned, white chaffed variety which averages 36 inches tall and has slight lodging under high yielding conditions. It has good winter hardiness. It is resistant to soilborne wheat mosaic, stripe rust, resistant to leaf rust and powdery mildew; moderately susceptible to septoria leaf blotch. Results from the USDA Soft Wheat Quality Lab indicate that AR 910 has excellent milling characteristics and excellent baking characteristics. AR 910 has been licensed to Lawhon Farm Services, Inc. of McCrory, AR.
