Fingerprinting

Non-criminal fingerprinting is divided into the three catagories below. Please read the information and follow the instructions carefully. If you have any questions, please contact the University Police at (479) 575-3204.

For Bar Examinations/Job Applications/Security Clearances

• HOURS: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• AVAILABLE TO:
  • Current Students
    • COST: $5.00 (check or exact change only)
      add $5.00 per additional card
  • Faculty, Staff, and Alumni
    • COST: $10.00 (check or exact change only)
      add $5.00 per additional card
  • Non-affiliated Persons
    • COST: $20.00 (check or exact change only)
      add $5.00 per additional card
      
• WHAT TO BRING
  • Photo Identification (examples: Drivers License, State ID Card, University ID Card)
  • All documentation from the business or organization requesting the fingerprints
  • MUST supply your own fingerprint card

For Immigration Purposes

Beginning March 28, 1998, the University Police Department will no longer provide INS fingerprinting services. INS has informed us by letter that all fingerprinting services will be handled through their office in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

If you need fingerprints for INS purposes you may contact the Fort Smith office at (501) 646-4701, or contact the INS Helpline at (202) 305-7802. The Helpline is available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am to 3:00pm.
