Logo & Stationery Guidelines Introduction
A brand is a promise of satisfaction made consistently over time. It's not solely a product or service. Instead, it's the unique, often emotional, characteristics that people attribute to a product or service. It's the trust they place in it, the loyalty they feel for it, the bond they build with it.
The symbol of the University of Arkansas brand is the tower logo.

This tower logo is a combination of symbols representing the history and significance of the University of Arkansas. The shape of the north tower of Old Main represents the first building of higher education in the state, and is representative of the longevity and tradition of the University of Arkansas. The red color of the logo was made famous by our Razorback student athletic programs.
Every UA publication must have the logo displayed on the front cover (and often on the back cover, as well), so that it can be properly and immediately identified with the University of Arkansas. In a world of increasing communications clutter, this is necessary to instantly 'brand' the publication as coming from the University of Arkansas.
