The OCSSE staff is comprised of higher education professionals with expertise in student affairs and student services, student conduct matters, conflict resolution, and mediation.

Monica D. Holland: Director

Education: Bachelors degree in Psychology from Arkansas Tech University. Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Arkansas. Currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Counseling Education from the University of Arkansas.

Background: Ms. Holland has worked in the field of Student Affairs for three years. Prior to her position as Director, she held the role of Assistant Dean of Students for the Office of Community Standards and Student Ethics and was also employed as an an academic advisor in Pre-College Programs.

Hobbies: Ms. Holland's hobbies consist of reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband and 6 dogs. She also enjoys going to musicals/plays, shopping, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and cooking. Quote: “Don’t compromise yourself; you are all you’ve got” (Janis Joplin)

Sandy Vasquez: Assistant Director

Education: Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies from the University of California at Northridge. Masters Degree in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas.

Background: Ms. Vasquez has worked in the field of Student Affairs for 3 years. In the future she wishes to pursue a Doctorate Degree in Public Policy or a field related to higher education. Ms. Vasquez enjoys the work of judicial affairs because it allows her to get to know students on a one on one basis with the specific goal of assisting them in being successful members of the global community. Prior to working in the Office for Community Standards, Ms. Vasquez worked in Residential Life as the Graduate Resident Director for Humphreys Hall.

Hobbies: Ms. Vasquez enjoys cooking to salsa music, talking long walks, and spending time with her family and friends.

Karl Anderson: Graduate Assistant.

Education: Bachelors degree in International Relations from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mr. Anderson has been a graduate assistant in the Office of Community Standards and Student Ethics for 1 year and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas.

Background: Mr. Anderson enjoys his work because it allows him to interact and work with students on a daily basis and because it offers him an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students, helping them to succeed in college and beyond.

Hobbies: Mr. Anderson enjoys reading, running, listening to music and being with family and friends.
