To promote a well educated knowledge-based workforce, interactions between engineers, scientists, technologists and other professionals located on the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville main campus and their corporate counterparts located at the Arkansas Research and Technology Park (ARTP) are encouraged. Therefore, to make the University a more attractive partner and to further its mission and reputation as a land-grant University, a special category of relationships with the University of Arkansas Technology Development Foundation (Foundation) shall be accorded to specified personnel associated with corporate, government and private entities leasing space at the ARTP (Corporate Partners), to be known as the University of Arkansas Technology Development Foundation Affiliate Program.
Employees of any Corporate Partner, whose permanent duty station is located at the ARTP are eligible. Corporate partners are required to provide information concerning the identity and duty station of each employee eligible for the Affiliates Program to the Foundation for approval, record keeping and appropriate distribution.
Members of the Affiliate Program are entitled to the following benefits:
- Visit and use the University of Arkansas libraries;
- Make purchases from the University Book Stores;
- Utilize University Dining Services;
- Invitations to University-sponsored scientific, technological, engineering, humanities, artistic and cultural lectures, seminars, and workshops;
- Access to University students and faculty;
- Access to University facilities and equipment;
- Opportunities to serve as guest lecturers and adjunct professors.
