While in Law School, she had the privilege of helping to develop and acting as a legal consultant to the “Law of the Land” column in Progressive Farmer Magazine . She now practices at Compton, Prewett, Thomas and Hickey, LLP, a law firm in El Dorado, Arkansas. In her law practice, Dawn deals primarily with family issues but is also involved in a number of environmental and farm property cases.
