Brenda Vassaur Taylor, J.D., LL.M.

She graduated with honors from Baylor University , earning a B.B.A. degree in accounting in 1975. She became certified as a CPA in 1978, though inactive.

Mrs. Taylor received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1978 and a Masters in Law in the area of Taxation from Southern Methodist University in 1979.

Mrs. Taylor is admitted to practice before the courts in the state of Arkansas and the U.S. Federal Courts. She has been in private practice since 1978. A participant in various estate planning and bar associations, Mrs. Taylor currently belongs to WealthCounsel, LLC, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., the Christian Legal Society—Gift, Estates, and Trusts Section, all groups being widely acclaimed estate planning and elder law attorneys from across the United States . She continues involvement in various civic and religious organizations which offer her the opportunity to give and receive benefits of an intangible nature.

As an experienced speaker and seminar leader in the fields of estate, business, and tax planning, Mrs. Taylor has used her presentations to educate vast numbers of people concerning the value of goal oriented strategic planning. Use of the revocable trust to replace the will and probate.  We will also review the need for health care and property powers of attorney -- even for college students. We will dispel many myths that cause a person to falsely rely upon joint ownership and designated beneficiaries in the place of proper planning.

Asset Protection:  How Best To Control Fianacial Risks In Your Life.
We will review techniques such as structuring ownership of assets between spouses, LLC's, FLP's, and other entities; increasing insurance coverages; and other planning ahead techniques that can reduce financial risks.
