Although not part of the Institute of Food Science & Engineering, we strongly encourage entrepreneurs and small business owners to use the free services of the Arkansas Small Business Development Center. The Arkansas Small Business Development Center has instructional information on their website to assist small businesses getting started. Their headquarters is in Little Rock but have six branch offices throughout Arkansas. In addition, consultants are available to help with marketing plans, financial assistance and other business considerations. Many of their services are free.
