Summary: This workshop is sponsored by the Department of Food Science at the University of Arkansas and is intended for people who wish to learn more about the different types of sensory panels and how to properly use them. In addition, the use of focus groups will also be discussed. Registration is limited to 15 people. Dr Jean Meullenet and his staff along with speakers from industry will present the information in an interactive manner.

2) Discriminative Sensory Methods
3) Descriptive Analysis Methods
4) Consumer Test Methods
5) Introduction to Product Optimization and Preference Mapping
6) Proper use of Focus Groups
7) Purchase Behavior of Consumers;
Date and Time: This workshop will be held on June 2013 over 2 days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m each day.

Registration: You are encouraged to register by May 15, 2013. The University of Arkansas has a $400 registration fee to cover the cost of facilities, materials, speakers, and breaks. Seats are limited; please submit your registration as soon as possible. Course space will be filled in order of receipt of registration. Those accepted into the course will receive confirmation. Registration will close after the course is filled.
