Q: Who can join the Master Chorale?
A: All adult singers are welcome to join the University of Arkansas Master Chorale.
Q: What are the requirements for membership?
A: No audition is required. Dues are $45 toward covering the costs of hall rental, instrumentation, and other such expenses. We ask all members to contribute $10 toward a stipend for the rehearsal accompanist and music costs approximately $10 per season. Members who are able may wish to contribute a greater amount to assist a member who has difficulty in meeting these costs.
Q: When and where are rehearsals held?
A: Rehearsals are held on Mondays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the choir room on the University campus, room MUSC 335. Parking is readily available in the parking structure on Stadium Drive.
