In
room 321 of the Music Building is a lab containing 13 computers for use
by music students. It is not a general access lab and only one of
the computers has internet access. Only rarely is there a GA available
in the room to help you use the software. Starting in the Fall of
2003 however the Music Department will be offering courses on Music Technology
that will teach you how to use music related software.
Hours of Operation
At this time we have six computers running Windows and seven Macintosh computers. All of the computers are connected to one of three printers in the lab.Monday thru Friday - 8 am until 10:30 pm
Fridays - 8 am until 5:30 pm
Saturdays - Closed
Sundays - 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm

Peak LE - a stereo audio recording and editing application
Toast Lite - a cd burning package
AP Assistant - a UA developed application to improve ear training skills like melodic dictation, interval ID, etc.
Clarisworks - a word processing application
Finale 2003 - a music notation applicationAll of the computers have MIDI keyboards connected, three of which are Roland XP-30 keyboards with over 1000 high quality presets. Most of the rest have General Midi sound cards attached.
