(Graduate Management Admission Test)

ELIGIBILITY: This exam is a requirement for students planning to enter graduate schools of business. The GMAT is a standardized assessment that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. Schools use the test as one predictor of academic performance in an MBA or other graduate management program.

TEST DESCRIPTION: The GMAT measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that you have developed over a long period of time in your education and work. It is given in a computer-based format only. The verbal and mathematical sections are multiple-choice. The format of the analytical writing skills section is essay.

TEST DATES: This exam is given several times per month. These dates are scheduled at various times to accommodate examinee class and work schedules. You can obtain a list of test dates by calling Testing Services at (479) 575-2743.

FEES: The cost of the GMAT is $250. You may pay the fee with a major credit card.

REGISTRATION: Registration is limited to 6 students per test date. Register early to maximize chances of scheduling your preferred test date by going to http://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT.

RESCHEDULING OR CANCELING: If you decide to cancel your test appointment, you can do so online or by phone. You must visit www.mba.com or call GMAT Customer service to cancel at least seven (7) calendar days before the date and time of your scheduled appointment or your entire test fee will be forfeited.
