(PRAXIS I – Pre-Professions Skills Test [PPST]) and (PRAXIS II – National Teachers Exam [NTE])
ELIGIBILITY: This test is a requirement of students who desire to teach and are designed to be taken early in a student's college career.
TEST DESCRIPTION: This exam measures reading, writing, and mathematics skills and are available in either a paper-based or computer-based format.

FEES: Computer-based $130.00 (If all 3 sections are taken on the same date -- if scheduled separately, fee will be $80.00 for one, $120.00 for two, or $160.00 for three.)
PRAXIS I REGISTRATION:
Computer Based Test: Call or Come by Testing Services in Hotz Hall 714 to register with a Check or Major Credit Card.
Paper Based Test: Come by Testing Services in Hotz Hall to pickup a
Registration Bulletin. Mail the Registration Form and the Test Fees to the testing
company (must be RECEIVED BY the deadline). You may also Register
Online with a major credit card or over the phone by calling 1-800-772-9476 M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. EST.
PRAXIS II REGISTRATION: To register, come by Testing Services in Hotz Hall to pickup a Registration Bulletin. Mail the Registration Form and the Test Fees to the testing company (must be RECEIVED BY the deadline). You may also Register Online with a major credit card or over the phone by calling 1-800-772-9476 M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. EST.
TEST PREPARATION: You may visit the website below for official test prep materials or check the Campus Bookstore or your local bookstore for materials.
ID REQUIREMENT: For examinees testing within their country of citizenship (American students) any government-issued identification such as passport, drivers license, state ID, and military ID are all acceptable. If you are not testing in your own country of citizenship, you MUST bring your passport in order to be tested. Please note that student IDs alone will not allow admittance to the exam (they may be used only as a second form of ID).
