ELIGIBILITY: The following students are eligible for special accommodations:
TEST DESCRIPTION: A special administration is any test administration that’s purposely conducted in a non-standard manner. From time to time Testing Services is asked to provide an accommodation in the form of a special administration for an examinee with an impairment that affects the examinee’s ability to take a test in the standard manner. These accommodations are made in accordance with the test administration provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA established basic legal rights for individual with physical, learning and mental disabilities that substantially limit a major life function.>
If you need to request a special administration based on a disability, you must submit a current letter from a licensed physician, optometrist, social worker, or psychologist (including title, address and telephone number) on his/her letterhead describing the nature of the functional limitation as it applies to taking a multiple test, standardized test, and the specific accommodations needed for testing. This information is forwarded to the testing company for their approval.
TEST DATES: Will be set up after test materials are received. These tests are administered per student request at a time mutually convenient for both the student and the Director of Testing Services (weekdays only).
FEES: No additional fee is required for special administrations; however, all students are liable to the testing company for test fees.
REGISTRATION: Please contact Testing Services at (479) 575-3948 for information.
TEST PREPARATION: Please refer to the testing company’s website for information.
ID REQUIREMENT: For examinees testing within their country of citizenship (American students) any government-issued identification such as passport, drivers license, state ID, and military ID are all acceptable. If you are not testing in your own country of citizenship, you MUST bring your passport in order to be tested.
