People Respecting Individual Differences and Equality

"The purpose of this organization is to provide supportive, social, educational, outreach, and community events, activities and opportunities for students at the University of Arkansas who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and straight (GLBTQQS).  PRIDE is a safe and welcoming place in which we focus on the issues facing individuals on campus, in the community and in society, who identify as GLBTQQS.  The goals of PRIDE are to provide a safe and welcoming space and to create a more supportive and inclusive campus climate that encourages the success of all students regardless of sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation."
