Office of the Chancellor

Charles F. Robinson, the seventh chancellor of the University of Arkansas, is committed to advancing the university’s land-grant mission to provide opportunity and transform lives through education, research and service. Dr. Robinson was appointed chancellor in November 2022, after serving as interim chancellor since August 2021.

Academic Affairs

The Division of Academic Affairs works to enhance the university's excellence in instruction; research; outreach and public service; and student affairs; and is responsible for academic planning and budgeting, faculty development and promotion, and academic initiatives.

Enrollment Services

Enrollment Services seeks to enroll and graduate students who will engage fully in academic and service programs, develop intellectually and personally, and contribute to the campus, the state and the global community. To assist students in achieving their academic and career goals, Enrollment Services offers support with academic success, admissions and orientation, financial aid and scholarships, nationally competitive awards, student records through the registrar’s office, and Workday Student.

Finance and Administration

The Division of Finance and Administration strengthens the University of Arkansas through responsible financial stewardship, building and maintaining a physical and digital infrastructure to support the campus community, and fostering a sense of purpose, belonging and safety for all students, employees and visitors. Units include facilities management, information technology systems, financial services, purchasing, budgeting, financial reporting, business services, police protection and human resources.

Student Affairs

Ensuring every student's success is the focus of the Division of Student Affairs. Students benefit from multiple support services, programs and initiatives focused on community engagement, activities and entertainment, standards and conduct, Greek life, student media, housing, dining, mental and physical health, and career development.

University Advancement

The Division of University Advancement strengthens the University of Arkansas through responsible financial stewardship, building and maintaining a physical and digital infrastructure to support the campus community, and fostering a sense of purpose, belonging and safety for all students, employees and visitors. Units include facilities management, information technology systems, financial services, purchasing, budgeting, financial reporting, business services, police protection and human resources.

Governmental Relations

Coordinating university activities related to government and community organizations on a local, state and federal level is the focus of the Governmental Relations office. Its University Relations team develops and leads the communications, marketing and brand strategy for the university, collaborating with partners across campus to inform and engage while creating better understanding and support for the university’s mission and enormous positive impact on the state and world.

Research and Innovation

The Division of Research and Innovation is responsible for growing the university’s research program, developing and improving research infrastructure and capacity, energizing innovation, and supporting economic development. The office also oversees research administration and compliance, optimization of research space and equipment, interdisciplinary research centers, undergraduate research and the University of Arkansas Press.
